The only disappointing thing I can say about rating Mirror Sound Studios is I only get 5 stars. Five? Ken Fordyce and his assistant Christopher deserve at least 10! Not only were they highly professional, skilled, efficient you know all those official adjectives, but they where also a blast to work with! I will gladly recommend Mirror Sound Studios to my friends in need of film post-production audio (like us) and musicians.

I'm the developer of an educational language product. We recorded the literally thousands of clips of example sentences and words needed for the software over the course of about eight sessions at Mirror Sound.
We were impressed by the professionalism of the studio. Everything was very well organized and our engineers were knowledgeable and friendly. And they were totally ready to experiment to try to accommodate some special requests that we had in order to get the particular sound we were looking for. All this at a very affordable price. We will definitely use Mirror Sound for future projects.

Ken and Matt did a phenomenal job on a couple songs. Besides being a joy to work with, they are fluent in whatever it takes to make a fully satisfactory mix. I'd also like to say that the studio is excellent for making meaningful music. Mirror Sound is an encouraging, low-pressure environment with high tech studio space and solid production gear, which allows for music to sound wonderful and emerge with a soul.
