5 Stars! We needed seismic/earthquake straps installed on our water heater as part of our home sale, and after reaching out to multiple plumbers, State Plumbing Utilities was the clear choice. Other companies wanted to charge just to come out for a quote, and some quoted nearly four times what John asked for.
John and Mark were incredibly responsive from the start, and their sense of humor over text made the whole process surprisingly fun. They scheduled us right away, gave a heads‑up when they were on the way, and finished the job faster than I ever expected. They even found a way to work in a discount, which we really appreciated.
The installation was professional, clean, and done with real care. We were worried about how the straps would attach, but they handled everything flawlessly and made the whole process completely painless. I cannot recommend them enough. If you need plumbing work done, these are the people you want to call.

What else can I say, 5 star service. John was one time, knew exactly what to do, came through even though there was a part mix up with supplier. He was efficient, friendly, and professional. I had a tank failure (tank leaking). Slate was able to respond quickly and replace the tank. Their price was slightly lower than other quotes for a similar tank (50gal direct vent gas) and they offered an additional discount. Very satisfied.

I went into plumbing after being taken advantage of a few times and wanted to be able to work on my house and how give customers the same quality I expect in my own house.
