Toilets were installed as requested. I requested installation and removal of two toilets from the house. I was provided a quote beforehand. When the worker arrived he advised there was an additional fee for removal of $50 per toilet. I declined and hauled them to the transfer station myself and paid $33 total. Recommend advising potential customers up front of all charges pertaining to the scope of work requested.

Instalation was fine. For a standard toilet install they needed to see the job. Unfortunately, my husband was home and he gave them the green light. It was 30% more expensive than other quotes. The technitian did not haul away all of the toilet, leaving the top and the lid even though haul away was part of the cost. Additionally, he proceeded to tell us what a poor choice we made in choosing our toilet (a kohler). Not sure what his angle was there. He was also trying to get us to show him our flash heater to make sure that we were "maintaing" it properly. The experience was sub par. Again, the work was fine, but I would not call Danika again.

SeaTown Electric, Heating and Air
SeaTown advertised a $49 installation fee for a toilet installation but then advised me that the $49 fee was just for a service call and that the actual installation cost would be provided after seeing the job. They blamed the mistaken ad on Thumbtack. However, when I called Thumbtack, they advised it was up to SeaTown to properly word the details for there work on Thumbtack's site. Mistakes happen, but the fact that SeaTown would not honor an advertised price is also unfortunate.

Wow John just did a great job on our toilet install. His bid was hundreds of dollars less, and despite it being a more complicated install than normal (it was a pretty fancy bidet) and having to go to the hardware store twice for custom parts because of our weird floors, he still didn’t raise his original quoted price beyond the cost of the parts. He also fixed a problem that had stumped 2 other plumbers before him. Thanks so much!
