Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am a deaf person so I teach all that I know about sign language, the deaf history, the deaf cultural norms, etc. I am always in your corner to help you. I've always enjoyed meeting people and building up their potential in learning sign language. I especially enjoy the chats that my students and I have together. We chat in signs, never with voice because I'm building up their expressive and receptive skills.

I took 3 quarters of ASL classes with Jodi. The first class was at my local community college and then I went on to take private lessons when my schedule wouldn't accommodate the college class times. My favorite thing about Jodi is how patient she is. She'd explain the same concept several times and in different ways to help me comprehend it and give me tools to remember the concept. She also doesn't just tell you to memorize, she helps explain the 'why' which helped with retention of the skills I learned. I also loved that Jodi taught me about the deaf culture. I didn't expect to learn that during my ASL classes but it added a lot of value to the experience. I now consider Jodi not only my past teacher but a friend.

I was on a wait list for her class, and after I talked with her she said for me to sit in on her class and see if any students would drop the class. I took ASL 1-3 from her and our class talked with the college to get ASL 4-6 the next year. Jodi is the reason I became an ASL interpreter, she believed in me that I could when others said I couldn't. She made the classes fun to take. I would highly recommend her to teach any level of ASL I learned so much about the deaf culture and the deaf community from her. She is a great teacher.

I worked with Jodi Anicello for several years as she was my teacher in ASL. Her teaching methods were fun and challenging. I truly believe that she is the best teacher I have ever had. She is patient and understanding . She introduced me to the Deaf culture and always made me want to learn more.

Jodi is a patient and experienced instructor. The quality that stood out most is the fact that she understands two cultures well. She knows many individuals in the deaf community and can explain concepts in terms the hearing culture can understand.
