FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is flexible and I'm happy to work with a variety of clients to find a good price based on your budget and the type of work. But, my base rate is: -$35/hour for audio editing, social media videos, corporate video, commercials, panel discussions/presentations, home video, lectures, and most other video projects -FLAT RATE for short films, feature films, music videos, documentaries, and other more artistic projects which require extensive collaboration and back and forth. My base rate is $100/min of finished video (based on estimated final run time). Please, don't be afraid to reach out. I'm willing to work out flat rates and discounts for non-profits and early career artists.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start by meeting up in-person (or video call if working remotely) and having a conversation about what your project is, what your vision is, what sort of pricing we can do, and the technical details of your footage. I want to work out as many details as possible ahead of time and figure out what sort of relationship we should have for this project. Will you just hand me the footage and just wait for the finished product? Or do we need to meet up on a regular basis to review footage and edit together?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from The Evergreen State College with a degree in Media Arts, focusing on film production. Additionally I have worked part-time in government agencies as a broadcast operator and videographer for 2 years.
