Let me just say, Scott is such an awesome guy! We met up with him before we decided to hire him as our the wedding videographer and he was really fun and easy to talk to. He accommodated to us and worked with whatever we got and that meant a lot to us. He also did a great job on his work! He had top notch equipment and captures all the small details so you don't miss a thing on your special day. I wouldn't recommend anyone else!Dec 17, 2015Verified

Scott was soo great! I couldnt have asked for better. Everyone should have a videographer at the wedding. He sent the DVDs as promised, communicated fast and efficiently before, during and after the wedding. I am glad to join your other 5 star, and wish you success. I will contact you in the future if I have any other videographer needs.May 1, 2015Verified
Wedding and Event Videography
Conducted business over the phone and internet, returned calls in a timely manner and will do a montage of the videographed event. Very satisfied with the result. Scott took time to receive my call despite the fact that he was with his friends the night I called.Oct 19, 2014Verified
I recently worked with Scott while I was a participant in the RAW Las Vegas local art show. I was one of 22 other participants that night, and while Scott was filming and interviewing me for my spotlight, his professionalism was noticed by all as a small crowd began to gather around to watch! Scott was there almost the entire 4 hours of the event, he went way above and beyond what I was expecting. As a result the video he shot and edited of me at the event was truly impressive. I was especially impressed with the audio and video quality of the final video considering the amount of noise and low lighting there was in the venue. In this situation I cannot imagine having had a better experience, since I had no idea what to expect from the event. Scott's unique perspective as a filmer/videographer added an invaluable quality to the final outcome. He knew exactly what to film and add to the final edit to make it an amazing production. I can't wait to hire Scott again in the future!Mar 19, 2015Open Aperture Video Production's reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Every project is different but I tend to hover around the $60-$125 an hour range depending on what's needed and how many of my own people need to be involved. Pricing is negotiable within reason. I always quote what I think will be involved regarding the details given for the request of service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When I approach a new project with a new customer. I really do my best to get an idea of exactly what the customer is after visually. This means setting up phone meetings or even a Skype and of course meeting in person. Preparing for success is crucial.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have over 10 years of professional field experience. I'm always staying abreast of new technology as well as embracing the the investment into equipment and the education that comes along with it's mastery.
