Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I shoot and edit in a way that brings the viewer into the story and makes them feel something. I have been shooting for 20 years as a documentary filmmaker capturing the moment as it happens. There is something to be said for doing it consistently for that long. I love the fact that I get to see things and be in places and interact with people in a way that most who do the same wouldn't be able to do. It excites me that I can then share that with people in a way that lets them be part of it.

Andy has worked with our organization, Heavenly Treasures, for 8 years creating, producing and editing our promotional videos. He worked with us on the field in Kenya. HIs photographic and video expertise reflects his global experience, focusing on mission field projects. He organizes his work to meet your expected time frame. If you need last minute edits or special requirements he makes every effort to help out. I recommend Andy Yardy and Kinetic Village!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

In high-school I was into radio and photography but not video. During college I took a TV class and I realized that this was something that combined all my passions into one. The more I did the more I realized I had a natural talent for capturing moments and sharing them.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I encourage you to look past the bottom line and consider which vendor will provide you the best bang for your buck. There are times that I may not be the best person for the job you are looking to hire me for. I know what I do well and what I don't feel free to communicate with me directly to see how we can best work together.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

It always helps to have more creative and constructive interaction with a client. Often clients work in one of two arenas: 1. They hire me because they don't have time or desire to do the job. I am given a task and I do it with little or no interaction. 2. They have a very specific vision of what they want and they want to someone to execute it to that exact specification. The truth is the results always exceed expectation when there is a partnership developed through the process which bring better results in the long term. This doesn't necessarily require much time on the clients part but with their extra investment it will create a long term partnership that is worth the effort
