- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My minimum fee is $500 for a solo, acoustic performance of up to 3 hours. This is a flat fee, so the price does not decrease if your time frame is less than 3 hours. If, at the end of the event you decide you want me to play longer, I charge an overtime rate of $75 for each additional Half Hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, the customer will email me to start the conversation. Then we will schedule a quick call to go over specifics. From there, I will initiate a contract and require a 50% deposit to hold the date. The balance is due on the day of the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associates degree in Music with a double major in Jazz Studies and the Business Of Music. But the real education has happened in the practice room and on the numerous stages, through the 1000's of shows I've played over the last 20+ years. I've played everywhere from small coffee shops to 20,000 seat arenas. I once even played a grand opening of a hardware store. That's when I knew I'd really made it.
