- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not really complicated. I charge $30 per hour, for as long as it takes to complete the job. I give the option of the client paying $89 flat fee for the job. If the client is wanting data retrieval from a crashed system, then the pricing is $120 per hour. If the client wants data backup, then that rate is $45 per hour.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Always. I read every technology journal I can get my hands on. I am currently studying for my MCSE exam.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Very interested in my families first computer purchased way back in 1983. I loved to see what I could do with its BASIC language.
