- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, as a Dietitian, you are required to have 75 units per 5 years to keep your license. (For perspective-- typically an 8 hour seminar in a related health area would provide 6 units). In addition, I am considering a certification in 'Physical Activity in Public Health' or 'Personal Training' and/or Education.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had a fascination of how chemicals (food) or lack of them effect the whole body, including the mind (brain) and emotions. I wanted to know how it all worked.... And why.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Remember that healing and wellness includes your whole self, not just one part.
