- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a monthly fee for lessons that is due by the first lesson of each month. Most of my students take weekly 30 minute lessons, however longer lessons are available for an additional fee. High school students often take hour long weekly lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Many new customers message or call me to set up lesson times, and begin lessons right away. I offer for new students/parents to come to my studio to meet me and ask questions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Music Education, and I continue to go to workshops that are offered, take occasional college credits to keep my teaching certificate current, and attend concerts when I can. It is also important to me to meet with music teachers and continue to learn different teaching techniques, find out about new lesson material, and continue to grow professionally.
