FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's really only possible to give a base price. Every wedding is so very different. Each couple has specific things that are important to them that they want on their video. Some things take more time in the shooting or editing than others. It's important for us to take time to get to know our couples so we find out what they are wanting to see for their own Wedding Film. That is when we're able to give a more specific price. No matter what the price, we are well worth the cost.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I continue to learn in a variety of ways. No specific accredited classes, but I have to keep up on what's going on in order to stay on top of things.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started filming with 8 mm obsessively when I was 12 yrs. old. I took film making classes in college, but also fell in love with photography too. I really went into photography in my 20's, winning in competition sometimes in the Professional Photographers of America and P.P. of Orange County. I was also shooting some weddings. In 1982 when video became somewhat portable, I decided, "This is the future for weddings!" It's been no turning back, yet I do still love photography as well...but for weddings, video provides so many more memories for the couple.
