Introduction: I am a specialty chef who caters to people with food allergies and those who are looking to eat healthier without giving up taste and/or decadence.
My specialty is vegan, gluten-free, soy-free and Paleo desserts, but I also cater entire meals for small events when needed. I founded this company to help people see and taste that healthy food does not have to be bland or uninteresting.
You can still have sweets and delicious food without sacrificing your health!

I have worked with Melody on several different occasions and absolutely adore her and her work.
Melody caters to my wants and very specific dietary needs (I am a gluten-free, vegan who also loves raw food), and everything she makes tastes like heaven!
I am impressed by her attention to detail and her ability to make simple food taste so amazing. She has created special desserts and meals for me that have completely blown me away. And her cheesecake is absolutely decadent; you would never know that it is actually good for you too!
Melody has catered small events at my home and is such a joy to work with. My friends love her creations and I will be hiring her for many more occasions. She is even making my wedding cake!

I LOVE Cashew Blanca--it's my go to for delicious, guilt-free, made-with-love-and-consciousness treats. I've made purchases for a wide range of circumstances, from personal enjoyment (love the single-slice available at the Tacoma Food Co-Op and Ice-Cream Social), parties (this was the hit dessert at my last Thanksgiving), and business events (Cashew Blanca catered the dessert for Samdhana-Karana Yoga's Silent Auction last year)! I buy Melody's single-slice vegan cheesecake when I want a luxurious treat that doesn't make me feel puffy (from dairy) or erratic (from cane sugar) or just frightened (from the list of ingredients). Plus I love that it's made locally--yum all around! Thank you, Melody!

I have ordered several of Melody's delicious raw cashew pies in the past and they always exceed my expectations. Not only are the desserts beautifully presented and delivered on time, they make me and my guests feel great because they are made from the finest ingredients. Melody has so much integrity when it comes to her business practices - I always know that I am getting the best when I order from Cashew Blanca. I highly recommend working with Melody and eating as many pies as you can get your hands on - you won't be disappointed!
