Introduction: Mardee’s is a full service event planning and design company specializing in wedding & event planning, décor and floral design and graphic design. All of our services are tailored to suit our clients’ needs. Mardee’s was created out of Mary’s love of hosting parties/events, decorating, floral arranging, crafting, graphic design and making people smile and laugh. As a pastor’s wife, Mary has turned her passion into over 28 years of event planning and décor experience. What I love the most about my job is meeting and helping people. I love what I do because I do what we love, that is, planning, designing and decorating wedding and events while meeting and working with great people. I take time to get to know our clients and you get to know us. I listen to your event dreams and ideas, your expectations and priorities, then we turn them into a one in a lifetime, spectacular event that reflects your style and personality. I'll handle all of the aspects of planning from design to tear down and cleanup. I take the stress out of planning.

Mary made what seemed the impossible, possible. We met in person a couple of days before the wedding and I felt like everything was under control. A multicultural wedding planned in under 3 months, via Zoom! On the day of the wedding, she took care of everything and made sure that whatever was important for us happened regardless of the tight schedule. The moment she responded to my project request I knew she was the right person and I wasn't wrong. Her services are tailored to meet your needs and she does a fantastic job of coming up with a package which is convenient for you. If you want to have an expert help you with your event, Mary and her team will make it happen no matter what. I have nothing but the best words to say about my experience in working with her. I hired Mary as my day of coordinator. I planned everything myself but I wanted someone to essentially run the day. Mary and her team put together my centerpieces for me and decorated our arch and managed all my vendors coming throughout the day. Having her there helped a lot even though my family still came to me with questions... It was nice to be able to say "find Mary" and know things were being taken care of.

Mardees design team brought beautiful bouquet arrangements that brought my wedding to life! They were punctual and got right to work when they arrived. They were able to compose my vision with little direction from me which made my special day stress free. This was a very last minute wedding and I was thankful enough to stumble across this outstanding design team. They were able to come the Monday after my wedding and made clean up just as smooth as the set up was. Overall I was very happy with the services that were provided by Mardee’s Design and Consulting!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Pricing for wedding planning services varies due to the size, wedding style, details, and location. Every Mardee’s wedding and event is custom designed and created; therefore, the design price varies depending on the event. Pricing is always in the menu format, allowing you to select the aspects you are comfortable with. Our rehearsal and wedding day management package, included in every package, starts at $1500. That package includes: Complimentary Initial Consultation A Mardee’s consultants will meet with you three times one month before the wedding to review wedding information contracts and coordinate with vendors. Etiquette consulting Review vendor’s contracts and vendor coordination Final detail appointment at the selected venues the month of the wedding Final detail and prototype appointment with a floral designer the month of the wedding Accompany Bride to the final fitting session Detail wedding day itinerary development and distribution for the wedding party and vendors Instruct attendants on their roles and responsibilities Provide marriage license and name change information 1 Wedding Coordinator and 1 "Day of Wedding" Assistant Included Rehearsal Coordination and Instruction, maximum 2 hours ~ Collection of items at rehearsal to be brought and set up by us on Wedding Day such as Candles, Photographs, Guest Books, Wedding Favors, Toasting Glasses, Cake Serving Set, Ceremony Programs, Menu Cards, etc. Day of the Wedding Coordination, maximum 12 Hours Acceptance and assistance with the distribution and pinning of personal wedding flowers Assist the Photographer in gathering the wedding party and family for pictures as needed Ensure that the reception entertainment has proper electricity, staging, lighting, and shaded seating.   • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    First, we'll schedule a complimentary meeting for all of our clients (planning, design and decor, and rentals) where will get to know each other to see if we are a perfect fit to work with each other. Successful planning is based on relationships. During our first meeting will discuss ideas, style, location, budget, and next steps. Based on the information from our meeting we will design an amazing wedding/event. Then the fun begins. We will stay in constant contact via zoom or face-to-face meetings, emails, Skype/FaceTime, phone calls, and text.
