FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our customers pay for materials and cost of delivery as well as an agreed upon commission for each project. Customers will be offered itemized estimates for the cost of materials, cost of gas/deliver, and commission. We actively work to purchase quality materials at a competitive price. We charge the standard market gas rate per mile for deliveries to job site from our shop in Tacoma. Customers may ask for discounts on commission but not on materials or delivery.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once PNW Permaculture establishes contact with customers we discuss the services they are inquiring, then schedule an appointment for in person consultation at the job site. After consultation an invoice is drafted as an estimate and sent to customer. The customer then responds, and if an agreement is made then a contract is drafted and a deposit for materials and gas must be made by the customer. No cost increases will incur after deposit is given i.e PNW Permaculture guarantees no more materials will be required for the project. Payment of commission is due upon completion of the project.
