I had to change a couple things on my menu last minute and she was able to do that. The food was absolutely delicious. There was not any food left at the end of the night and my guest just kept telling me how great the food was. Meeka mac and cheese was a highlight. I had 3 different sliders and they were all so good! All food was ate no crumbs left. Meeka is great!"See more

THIS IS A BAD PLANNER DURING THE COVID-19 ERA. Do not contract them if you think your party could be disrupted from happening for any legitimate reason. I contracted this planner for a milestone birthday party in the middle of April in Seattle, but given the stay at home order, it would have been literally illegal to hold it. The contract stated the deposit was non-refundable, with some caveats for circumstances outside of the control of both parties. This planner has refused to refund even though it would have been against the law to hold any kind of party. The only justification they have given for not refunding is that they have offered to reschedule but 1) the contract has a specific date on it and the contract should be bound to that date, and services not rendered for that date should be considered as breaking the contract 2) No one in the world knows when we will be able to legally schedule big events again 3) this is a milestone birthday party and it doesn't really make sense to hold it at a later date, in particular because a good portion of people were going to travel from out of state for the party and I don't think it would be reasonable to expect people to travel for a postponed birthday party. It's like post-poning July 4th festivities to December. It just doesn't make sense. If the cancellation was due to something within my control I would understand. If I decided to cancel because I simply didn't want to hold it anymore I would understand. If I was planning something like a wedding even, I might understand. None of those fit the circumstances of not being able to throw this party. If there was ever any excusable circumstance to receive a refund, I feel like a worldwide pandemic should be it. Which means that there are no circumstances the planner would consider fit for refunding a deposit. In addition, I highly recommend requesting an itemized receipt and proposal of services. They only itemize some items which is kind of shady and unprofessional in my opinion. Look at the contract carefully and negotiate the terms if they make you uncomfortable.
