NW Responder offered a CPR/AED & Basic First Aid classes to our group of our employees - and we were all extremely satisfied with his interactive class, the content and teaching style. John was great at communicating, flexible with scheduling and extremely professional. I would highly recommend NW Responder for your class needs.

John was straight forward and no nonsense in his instruction. The entire group has expressed that this is the first time they've remembered training due entirely to his style of teaching.

I sent several of my staff to class in September and again in October. I talked to a mix of folks in different positions and different English language levels. Everybody agreed that John was engaging and informational. One gal Alyssa said that he was a little “intimidating” at first, but that once he got going she thought he was interesting and just so excited and passionate about CPR that the vibe came off as a little intense. Alyssa said that she learned a lot and wouldn’t mind taking CPR from him again and would tell a friend going to his class that he was “cool.” I also sat in on a couple different parts of the class. To me, everybody looked interested and engaged. He seemed to do a good job of getting people hands on, and kind of mixing up the talking and the hands on activities so that people stayed interested. John is definitely very passionate about CPR. He has a lot of energy while he presents, and appeared organized in both his equipment and communication. He does cram a lot of information in, but it’s nice to have a shorter CPR/First Aid combo class. Some of the combo classes from outside providers have been 4-6 hours long. I also found John to be friendly and professional. We had a mix-up about the room usage and John was able to go with the flow.

My wife and I took this class for two reasons; To fulfill a requirement for my work and to be better prepared to handle family emergencies especially those involving grandchildren. We left feeling both were accomplished. Instead of having us just go through the motions of CPR John provided repetitive practice with supportive instruction. His knowledge and experience in first aid were evident in his presentation and responses to our questions. He has a friendly approach and an obvious passion to convey the subject.

I have been required for the last forty-five years to have CPR/First aid certification and this was the most informative one I have taken. It was a very small class, just me and another so we had time to ask questions.

John has been our Annual Adult CPR & First Aid instructor at The Village Retirement Center for about 4 years. He gives an informative, yet entertaining review of needed information. His visuals and class involvement makes the time pass quickly. Many new staff say he's the best they've ever had. Getting new staff into an outside class is invaluable. We will continue to utilize John Stubbs.

We had CPR/First Aid training in our office with about 15 people. He was very thorough and covered all the subject matter required for the course. The hands on-training tied in perfectly with the lecture portion and we all feel that it was an excellent learning experience.

Thank you for coming out to our facility to train our employees on CPR/First Aid. We appreciate that you were so flexible with the times and conducting two classes. Your instruction technique was much appreciated as you kept the class engaged and entertained. The feedback that I received from the group was that they feel confident that they could administer CPR and First Aid if necessary. We look forward to contacting you again with any further training needs we may need. Thank you from Span Alaska

This was the best CPR class I've ever participated in. The instructor gave so many possible situations that could happen and gave me the opportunity to think and give feedback. Thank you & I would take this class again and let others know about it also.

What types of customers have you worked with?
The majority of our classes are basic Adult CPR with First Aid and the American Heart BLS for the Healthcare Provider. Coming in second based on the number of times offered in a year would be the 2 day Wilderness First Aid course. In addition to training classes NW Responder does First Aid and Emergency Response stations for sporting and community events. Please call us any time for price quotes. Our office is open from 8-AM to 8-PM 7 days a week. Our Instructors are available for classes 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
1) Don't assume brand name equals quality service. 2) Check level of service vs cost 3) Ask if there's any support offered before or after class? 4) Find out what the hours of operation are and do they have live after hour customer support?
