Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: When I start a project, I'd like to make sure it's done properly as if I was doing it for my self that means, no cutting corners with material or any shortcuts. I do what I promise or whatever I agree with a customer and that's always my promise. Most thing that I enjoy about painting is that I get to work on different locations and every project is always different . I get to communicate with customers and I enjoy seeing results after the project is complete.

Painted new detached garage/shop. Three issues. First, they didn't start the job when they said they would. Second, they said they would fill all the nail holes before painting, which they didn't. When I pointed it out, they came back and puttied the holes but didn't sand them, leaving obvious areas of bumpy surface. When we weren't happy with how that looked they tried to say the putty they used was "un-sandable." Finally, they came back and sanded the putty so there was a smooth surface on the boards. The third issue was that the color they put on the wood accent shingles did not look good with the main paint color at all - it clashed terribly. They did the whole thing while we weren't home, so when we came home to see it we called and asked for a redo on the shingles. They charged us an additional 25% of the whole job price to just do that one small area over again, which felt like a ripoff. The person we worked with didn't have the best customer service skills. He would send me text messages like, "???????" which is very unprofessional. Overall, I was not impressed with their style or their work.

I really hate to have to write a poor review, because I like Paul and had some positive experiences with him. But, our overall experience has been very frustrating and disappointing. The following is our situation: We contacted Clear View Exteriors (talked with Vlad first and then Paul) back in early Aug. 2015. We were requesting our house to be painted (exterior), however, we also had a couple of areas of dry rot that needed attention first. Doing repairs like this is not their expertise, however, Paul assured us he had a friend who worked for him that is an expert at residing and he would have him assist with the repair. He gave us a quote for repair of dry rot (ie: residing areas) and exterior paint, which we agreed on was to be started on Aug. 25th, 2015. The start date got delayed several times (due to other projects, family emergency, out of town, etc.) Once the project got started it was very slow going. ( ie: same excuses as above). When the siding was finally up, it sat unprotected during rainy days, and then primed when wet with accidentally the wrong primer, per Paul. When we signed up to have this job done at the end of August, we felt like we had enough time to have it completed before the wet weather came. Because, it was drawn out and not completed until the end of October 2015, we unfortunately, ended up with some water damage problems. Fast forward to January 2016....We noticed the areas where siding was replaced had discolored areas leaking through the paint and black mold on the surface of several of the panels. I immediately contacted Paul and sent pictures. He was very gracious and stated they would take care of the problem for sure. Of course, I knew nothing could be done until good weather returned. I didn't hear back from him, so contacted him again in early May, just to make sure he remembered our situation and asked if he could put us on the books for the earliest part of the summer (or when the weather looked like it would cooperate). He came to our house the first weeks of June to assess the damage with his own eyes and make a plan. He assured us again he would have it taken care of. Today, it is August 22nd, 2016. We are still with an uncompleted job and no idea of when the crew will be back to finish. Paul was back at one point for a brief moment in July, put some primer on part of the damaged area, but we still have black mold and areas that are not touched. I can't tell you how many numerous phone calls/texts I've had to make to see when or if he is going to return. It has been exhausting and infuriating, to say the least. We are really nice people, and I feel like we are being taken advantage of. Paul's last excuse of why he can't get back here was his wife just had a baby (around Aug. 9th). Congratulations to them, of course, but is there not a back up person to continue business for family situations!? Lastly, we were mostly very happy with the paint job the crew completed, minus a spot completely missed up near chimney and doorknobs not being removed. But, I must say, I don't feel like I would call on this company again in the future. Sincerely and honestly, Shannon, SW Portland

Paul's father actually did the work and it turned out great. He was very professional and got the job done quickly. The job was a granite surround for the fireplace in our family room and it looks great.

Paul pressured washed my roof, siding, driveway, patio, deck and re-painted all the trim on my house. He did an excellent job. The price was excellent and he's been timely and dependable for every project I hired him for.
