I've enjoyed my French lessons with Loren. He makes the lessons fun and he is very patient with me. He definitely has a passion for language and it shows in his teaching style.
Thorough, accomodating, professional. We found Mr Judkins a thorough gentleman, taught my daughter English Ap 2. He always accomodated us into his schedule though he was very busy himself. We had no confidence in skype sessions but he made my daughter ease into them. She benefitted greatly from his knowledge and expertise. We intend to use his services for my daughter's admission process too.
She is professional and good teacher. she taught me English flexibly so I could learn the topics I wanted to learn in each lesson. I learned pronunciation, grammar and vocabularies by using some articles and topics which I am interested in. I especially wanted to learn business English, so she proofread my resume and cover letter, and also practiced for job interviews. This experience was valuable for me.
Susan really knows how to teach English. She makes me relaxed and corrects me without embarrassing me. I think I am getting confident when I speak English. I feel she gives all her effort to teach me.
Beth has been my English tutor last 4.5yrs, and I got nothing but praise for her. Beth is dedicated, punctual and hardworking. She tailors materials for each student and never had a moment I felt like I was not learning. I have moved to East Coast a half year ago but I continued getting her lessons via video chat, and can’t be happier to have not just a tutor who’s always there for me but also a great dear friend. If you need the best tutor to learn English, I think you found one here.
Sylvia teached our kids and my husband during our stage in San Francisco. She was a very professional and nice teacher. She prepared the classes very well and they were adapted to our level. She was very warm with the kids and my husband enyoied the classes as well. I would choose Sylvia again for our english classes if I would be back to SF.
Elissa is excellent with my 14-year-old granddaughter who had become discouraged with her online high school French class. Elissa is encouraging, tells interesting stories, is very attentive, is firm and helps move along with the lessons. I see the excitement in my granddaughter, she looks forward to going to the tutoring sessions.
I had a beneficial experience with Mary as a tutor. The most important thing I would like to say about her "she is a very respectful girl". She came on time and explained many English lessons to me. Actually, she played a clear role in improving my English. Since I came here in the US and met her, she behaved as my friend not as my tutor only. Mary didn't help me in practicing English only, but she also helped me to find out information that related to my classes such as doing surveys and contacting with many American people. I really got fun time with Mary, and I would like to meet her again because I miss our enjoyable meetings.

I have a day job...but would like to start teaching on the side, not really out of necessity, but out of love of music, foreign cultures and children, and the desire to have more of those things in my life. I have a knack for teaching and it is something that always has come easily to me.
I have worked one-on-one with refugees learning English. I always encourage students to work at their own pace. I hold a TESOL certificate from Portland State University. English is a tough language, and I take great pleasure in helping people master it.
Hello, my name is Jackie. I am a recent graduate from Whitworth University which is located in Washington. I have excellent Spanish and English speaking skills, and I am interested in teaching these subjects to others. I have learned how to speak Spanish through my experiences of being immersed in Costa Rican, Cuban, and Nicaraguan cultures.
