Thank you, Thumbtack, for helping me find Mike. We have been looking for a good handyman for a long time. He's has a great attitude. He does quality work (see photo below, which shows his finished work before I have my painter apply a matching coat, as previously planned). Mike sticks with his commitments, even if it takes him more time and materials. He uses voice translation in his phone to help because he is learning English. Don't let that put you off, because you're supporting an excellent and courteous young man and getting great work and value for doing so. Here was the job: We had a leak in our outbuilding. A general contractor opened up some of the drywall and found the water path. That guy never came through with a quote. So we were left unfinished on the inside wall. Mike provided a very competitive bid, and I took a chance, based on his excellent ratings here. He started by putting down paper and covering a bookcase with plastic. He realized he needed more time and materials than his original quote, but he was willing to honor his estimate. He communicated frequently and well through phone messages. He removed old screws, cut and applied the sheetrock, did the taping and mudding, sanded it smooth and finished with texturing spray. He also reattached a bracket that holds our ladders and caulked an additional crack because I asked. He cleaned up and hauled away the old drywall pieces. The result looks really good. I am pleased to recommend him and give him a five star review.

Mike was great to work with from start to finish. He came out quickly and did an excellent job repairing a large hole in our garage drywall. The repair looks seamless—you can’t even tell there was ever any damage. He was professional, efficient, and clearly takes pride in his work. We really appreciated how fast he responded and got everything taken care of. Highly recommend!

Mike and his team executed a remarkable drywall repair. We recently had our guest bath/shower replaced, which demolished a fair bit of the drywall around the perimeter of the tub and shower walls. They married up the new/old drywall margins so well, I can't even tell there was ever a needed repair. Well done!
