FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a Realtor we are required to take 30 hours of continuing education every two years.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Each listing and sale are very different, but the one transaction that stands out the most is when I was looking for a horse property for a client. After seeing everything on the market, I searched on the RMLS web, Google, Countys website and wrote letters to Homeowners who had horse property to see if they would consider selling. After months searching, finally a property came through. It wasnt on the market, but the Owner was willing to sell. The custom built home, barn and acreage was amazing and my Client fell in love with it.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find a Broker that you can work with well. Meaning, interview them and see if they are someone that you could get along with. To often Brokers are replacing experience with knowledge. Whats the difference? Its a big difference. We are living in the information age. The amount of information what we have access to is tremendous. Just because they have KNOWLEDGE doesnt mean they have real-world EXPERIENCE. Ask them how many transactions they have had over the last 5 years. If you work with someone new, ask them if they have a good support team they can go to when certain circumstances may arise.
