I am a member of Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), and a professional opera singer who has 23 years of training and experience performing multiple genres, including Art Song, Oratorio, Musical Theater, Pop, Folk, R&B, Rock, Blues, Jazz, and Country. I have taught private voice lessons for 13 years, including 8 years of experience teaching online (pre COVID epidemic) to students, ages 13 and up, ranging from complete beginners and hobbyists to stage performers, singer-songwriters, and recording artists from across the United States. I specialize in a holistic approach, integrating breathing and voice techniques of the Italian bel canto school with mindfulness practice, yoga, tension identification and release via chiropractic and physical therapy exercises, and helping each individual student, whatever music they perform, claim their unique vocal identity.
