Introduction: I have been told I make people feel very at ease and comfortable. I give 110% to my customers and always go the extra mile. I spend many hours scouting for the best locations for my clients and work super hard after the shoot to perfect their images for viewing. I love love love when people are genuinely surprised by what we've accomplished. Yesterday just before I took a head shot of a realtor, she said "I hate myself in photos', I took a shot showed her the back of my camera and she said "oh my God, I love it", That makes me soooo happy. When parents see pictures of their children and get really emotional because they're so cute, that makes me super happy. I love when I envision something and it works out, that beautiful picture you dream about becomes a reality, it makes it all worth while.

Maria is in one word, AMAZING! She has been photographing my children since they were 2 and 4 (and honestly I'm sad when I look at my earlier 'professional photos' of my kids, and wish I had known her since they were newborns). They were not particularly fond of having their photos taken when she first photographed them, but that didn't phase her, Maria's warmth, kindness, a little side of silliness, and her apparent love for children wins them over almost immediately, and they are putty in her hand. Her eye for catching the candid moments is one of my most favorite things about her. They end up being the pictures I treasure the most, because she captures the essence of my children, and I know years later I will be able to look back at the photos she takes and remember my children just as they were at that particular time. She is timely to a session, and never in a rush during a session, careful to make everyone feel at ease, and create magic in the photos. Once the shoot is over, she has a timely turn around for getting the images purchased back. She is usually very good about posting a few sneak peeks to her Photography Facebook Page the same day as the session, as much for her own enjoyment as the client. Once you receive your portrait package, you will be blown away at the care and professionalism taken in your images. Both in the editing, and in the way they are presented to you. I really can't say enough about how the overall experience with Celtic Charm Photography and Maria will leave you pleased with the end product, and most likely you will feel that you have left with a new friend. Recently I started working with Maria on the newborn side of her business (after years of working with her as a photographer/client), and now I see the behind the scenes and know how much she dedicates to each client with editing, props, preparing for shoots, and ordering/preparing the shoots. It really is a labor of love for Maria, and she puts her loving care into each shoot and the process that goes along with it. Beyond that, I also see how much time she puts into her professional development, taking classes and courses on all aspects of photography to make sure that she is staying current and her skills are remaining top notch. If you cherish your family/newborn/baby/children, bring them to Celtic Charm Photography and guarantee that the money you spend to capture those precious moments will be money WELL spent. The end result really is PRICELESS, I wouldn't trust my family images to anyone else ever again! We are so thankful we found Maria and Celtic Charm Photography!

Maria, of Celtic Charm Photography, took the most adorable pictures of my grandson, Kash. He was just a moth old and she and her assistant were so good with him. The photos turned out beautifully and I show them off all the time!! Most recently I was in need of a picture of myself and again I turned to Celtic Charm Photography. Though I am unaccustomed to having my picture taken, Maria helped me to relax and have fun. By the end of the session I felt so pretty and when I got the pictures I loved them. It is hard to find someone who is professional and personable at the same time. I have recommended Celtic Charm Photography to friends and family. Both Maria and her work are awesome!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't have a super complicated pricing system. I charge a sitting fee, I charge for a USB of digital images with a print release. I have several a la carte items and collections that clients can purchase if they feel they'd like professional quality prints.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
YES!!!! I'm studying, reading, learning all of the time. The industry and trends change all of the time.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I just love photography and always have, it's what makes me the most happy. It's so addictive, especially when clients are happy, you just want to do it over and over.
