- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of our job are in the residential market but we also service the retail side of the commercial market as well. For residential most of the work we do is remodeling and we are good at it. We have been in business for about a decade now and have always delivered the best to our costumiers.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
In this project we converted approx. about 120 SF of garage space into a bathroom and laundry room just off the kitchen. We added all new plumbing. We raised the floor up off the concrete slab about 12″. Afterwards we enclosed the room from the garage by putting up a wall, then divided the the space into a bathroom and laundry room. Next we installed all the plumbing fixtures( sink, toilet, shower/tub combination). Green board went up in the bathroom and regular wallboard in the laundry room addition. Everything was painted with Rodda Paint. Rodda paint knows its paint, they are a company that has deep roots in the North West and knows the weather here. We then installed Armstrong Luxury Vinyl Tile. This Armstrong flooring product is a great way to achieve a great look of natural stone with out the costly maintenance of natural stone tile. We added grout to make this a dream come true for our client. This bathroom remodel took us about two weeks to complete.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Best thing to do when searching for a contractor is to check that he or she is licensed, insured and bonded. The second thing you want to do is to check on the contractors license status, see if there are any complaints from previous customers, if any do exist that see how they were resolved. Third of course you want to check any references that a contractor may have or photos of his work. Lastly is the price if your contractor has everything mentioned above but his pricing is outrageous than you need to call RSU Construction LLC.
