My name is Diane, and I am a professional non-denominational Wedding Officiant and legally ordained minister. As your officiant, I will meet with you and your fiancé (via Zoom) to learn what your wedding/elopement vision is, and to find out about your love story! After that, I get busy helping you create a beautiful ceremony that is just for you! Maybe you just want something short, sweet, and straight to the point? Is a small legal ceremony right for you? Do you want a more elaborate ceremony with readings, Unity ceremonies, etc.? I can help there too! Your wedding should be what you choose, and I can provide you with the services that you seek. Included in my fee is a complimentary Zoom consultation, assistance with vows if needed, and creation of your wedding script. In addition, I will hand deliver your marriage license to the Register of Deeds and follow up with you after your ceremony! Things I won't do? 😲 * Stand in your first kiss photo (yikes!) * Wear white to your wedding (oh no!) * Dress unprofessionally (although a theme wedding is always fun so count me in!) We can’t thank White Swan Wedding Services and Diane enough for the incredible way she supported us through our wedding ceremony. From my very first communication with her, I could tell that she was different. When she was unavailable to support us with our original wedding date, she kindly guided me to resources to locate another officiant. So when we decided to move the wedding date, I knew she was the person I wanted. She was so kind, thoughtful and caring. She truly wanted to get to know us and our story and used that to create a beautiful ceremony for us. When she then broke her foot 2 days before our wedding, she didn’t cancel on us, she simply asked for us to ensure that we could find a way to accommodate so that she could still support us. And she thought of every detail, helping us to select the ideal scripture reading for the ceremony, guiding us as we wrote our personalized vows to even stepping out of the way for our first kiss so she wouldn’t be in the photograph. Our ceremony was heartfelt and personalized like it was officiated by someone who knew us for years. Diane was everything we hoped for and so much more. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend White Swan Wedding Services and Diane to anyone and everyone getting married in the Wisconsin area.

Diane put together the MOST BEAUTIFUL ceremony that was both sentimental but comical which perfectly exemplified our relationship. We received MULTIPLE compliments about the ceremony, guests felt the ceremony was “relaxed and funny” “showed our personalities and relationship to a T” “we were crying happy tears right along with the bride”. She made the planning of the ceremony so easy for us. Diane was clear and concise with all her communication, keeping both myself and my husband updated along the way. When the wedding weekend finally arrived, we could rest easy knowing that Diane had things under control. She was prompt and prepared for the rehearsal and kept the wedding party in line. Diane was so detail-oriented, ensuring to step out of the first kiss photo and even helping us arrange the ceremony stage a bit. From our first meeting to the very end of the ceremony, Diane was professional and friendly. This isn’t Diane’s first rodeo and it shows!! She is a true professional in the wedding game and we have ZERO regrets with choosing her as our officiant.

My now husband and I decided to do a small planned elopement with just our children. From our first meeting Diane was organized and professional with a lovely demeanor. She makes the process incredibly easy. Diane helps guide you to make the choices that are best for your particular ceremony. The meetings were straightforward, as well as the paperwork. She gave plenty of email reminders, which was very helpful for me. Our ceremony was beautifully crafted and exactly what we wanted as a couple and family. She is extremely patient and kind. They left us a really sweet gift, and took care of the paperwork and follow up for exactly what I needed to do to change my name and so on. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we receive contact from a potential client, we will arrange a mutually convenient time for a complimentary consultation by Zoom. After that conversation, if you are interested in our services, we will follow up with informational materials emailed to you. We will then complete the contract and start planning your ceremony!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master of Science Degree and over 23 years of professional speaking and writing. I have planned and organized a variety of events for various residential communities. Some of those events included wine and cheese pairings, craft events, themed events, Halloween parties, Christmas parties, Retirement parties, company luncheons, and more. From there, I ventured into wedding day-of coordinating and officiant services which I absolutely adore! Finally, I have completed continuing education in wedding planning and coordinating, and courses helping me be the best officiant I can be! I believe strongly in continuing education so I am current with any new trends.
