- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $125 for a half hour(or less) ceremony, and that includes the introductory meet and greet and all emailing/pone correspondences (sorting out the details) $200 for an hour ceremony. $25 for a rehearsal, as needed. I charge extra for more involved (2+ hours) planning consultations, as necessary. Travel expenses (gas and meals) and any required lodging are additional.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First step is to meet and chat. What do you have in mind? I take my cues from you and go from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
One of my greatest strengths is my creativity. I am a poet, a photographer, a painter, a song writer, and a public speaker. I've written hundreds of newspapers articles, and I've published four books (thus far.)and I've won 4 Emmy awards and an Edward R. Murrow award for TV news writing. I have lots of ideas for helping to make the ceremony comfortable, personal, and fun. If you have a vision, I can help you make it work.
