The painters were very prompt and very flexible when unforeseen circumstances came up regarding the project. They did a good job for a reasonable price and were very easy to work with.

They showed up on time every day, finished the project exactly within the timeframe they promised, and the quality of their work was excellent. The one positive thing I can say is that the owner was apologetic and tried to resolve the issues, however some things cannot be fixed. The initial quote and scheduling was quick turnaround. Unfortunately, the schedule committed to was blown on day 1. This was a several day job quoted as 2. The crew was never on time nor there when they said they would be. The prep of the area was done poorly and the quality of work was horrible. They came back several days for just a few hours instead of being prepared (having enough paint), and finishing a full day’s work. They left tons of overspray on walls and floors. They ended up firing the experienced painter for these reasons and left us with a kid who was being trained and didn’t know how to actually get paint to absorb into raw wood. He didn’t know how to use the sprayer alone so he had to use a brush and many areas were left with no paint on them. Nothing was primed ahead of time. Granted, this was a basement ceiling job so it was not an easy gig. If it was, we would have done it ourselves. Turns out, we should have. An expensive lesson. If you’re considering hiring them, I would highly recommend talking to the owner to see if they’ve resolved the crew issues (gotten some trained painters) and ensure they can stick to the schedule. Else you’ll be rearranging your own work schedule and weekend plans and doing a lot of the cleanup and touch up yourselves.
