Introduction: I've served as a non-denominational (Christian Church) pastor for 24 years, and have performed over 100 wedding ceremonies. I enjoy making weddings a fun experience for the bride and groom, as well as their guests. My fee is "all-inclusive" - it includes performing the wedding ceremony (no additional travel fees), conducting the rehearsal (if requested), and up to 3 one-hour pre-marital "coaching" sessions (these are optional, so not required, and can be done in-person at my office in Germantown, or via video call). I'll walk through each part of the wedding ceremony with you beforehand - you'll choose exactly what elements you'd like to include in your ceremony. I love meeting new people, and helping them take next steps in their life journey - spiritually, relationally, emotionally. Helping people is what makes my work rewarding.

We are SO thrilled to have worked with Jerod and cannot recommend him enough. It was very important to us to get to know our wedding officiant well before our big day. We wanted him/her to know us well, bring personal things to our ceremony and perfectly weave faith with humor. Jerod nailed all of these things! Over the course of planning our wedding, we attended 'coaching sessions' via VC with Jerod and shared more about ourselves. We learned lessons about faith, marriage and each other. I loved that Jerod took the time to offer these sessions to us and share his own experiences. During the ceremony, Jerod brought a sense of humor and calm to us and our guests. He led the ceremony with ease, made sure our vows and the readings we had moved smoothly and he was a genuine pleasure to get to know. Jerod officiated our wedding on May 5th in Milwaukee and he was amazing. We live in Chicago and he made everything as convenient as possible for us throughout the planning process. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the whole preparation for the ceremony and personalized the ceremony which made it even more special for us.

Jerod was absolutely amazing as our officiant! First, with the pandemic we had to reschedule our original date from May to August and he was so flexible and willing to work with us even though the new date was on a Friday and rehearsal then on a Thursday. Second, there was some chaos during rehearsal that he handled so graciously and like a professional. Lastly, the rain luckily held off for our ceremony but a TRAIN (yes a train) came through while he was speaking and he so elegantly handled it on the fly and made a joke. We got so many compliments about the you and the ceremony, Jerod! Thank you so much for everything you did and for being so thorough and checking in with us about the even the most minor details. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jerod! He is the best.

There is no other way to summarize Jerod's work at my wedding other than amazing. Jerod was professional, punctual, and made the most perfect ceremony I could have imagined. Not only did he tailor our wedding perfectly to our personalities, but also incorporated everything we wanted in our wedding.
