Before I met Konrad, I struggled mightily with trying to lose weight and improve my fitness. I tried different diets, none of them worked. Tried different one size fits all exercise programs, they were too difficult, and I ended up getting hurt. After meeting Konrad, however, all of that changed. The first thing I noticed was how important it was to him that I met my goals, and that he would do whatever he could to help. Right away, I was impressed that Konrad is in graduate school at Northwestern to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy, as well as his top line health and fitness certifications, so I knew he would be the perfect person to help me out. As my trainer, Konrad developed a diet plan for me that was easy to follow and focused on eating wholesome, nutritious foods. Protein and produce, less ingredients, less processed foods. Secondly, I was impressed at the breadth of knowledge Konrad had as he led me through different workouts. His workouts were designed to target specific muscle groups, in order to strengthen my whole body and improve my functional fitness. I could tell that he actually paid attention to my fitness level, as each subsequent workout continued to challenge me, ensuring my progress. His workouts are always different and exciting, and I left each session feeling like I had accomplished something. He was also very attentive and easy to talk to, he knows so much about how the body actually works! Any question I asked him, he provided an easy to understand answer, without getting too much into the science behind it-a true indicator that he knows his craft! Between the diet and the training I did with Konrad, I managed to lose 30 pounds in 6 months and I am now pain free! I would highly recommend Konrad and his team at Chitown Trainer for any health related needs. He's a true professional, and I would imagine there aren't many other places out there that do as good a job as Chitown Trainer.
When we first met with Patrick we were skeptical at first. But after trying to keep a regular workout schedule ourselves and not seeing results we decided to give him a try. He was able to devise an exercise routine and diet that was tailor made for us, taking into consideration our limitations and injuries. We found his idea of dieting and calorie counting a bit challenging. In fact, we hated it. We hated all of his diet suggestions. But once we figured out what foods worked for us, keeping us full and staying within our calorie count; we started to see results and we had enough energy throughout the day and to not feel hungry at night. We both started with our clothes fitting a bit snug and looking sloppy. Today we STILL dont fit into our clothes. However, were proud to say theres a lot more room in them now. Aside from being leaner and meaner, our faces and skin look alot better and we feel better. Patrick has motivated us to eat better, keep fit, and stay in shape and not order a lot of pizza. Dan has been training me for the past 8 weeks and since we started working together, I've seen an incredible improvement in my strength, and my figure--this week I was able to fit back into my favorite pair of work pants that I haven't been able to fit in, in a year! When I first met with Dan I hadn't worked out in literally 2 years and was really nervous about all of it; however, Dan devoted an entire session to simply understanding me, the current state of my health, my habits, and helped me define where I wanted to be in my ideal future state. Dan then put together a customized program to ensure we could get there. As a woman, my one of my biggest concern was around "bulking up" from weight training as my body type lends itself to this if I'm not careful. I shared this with Dan and despite what I was sure would happen after the weight training, he's somehow made plan that made me smaller and noticeably toned up, and definitely not bulkier! In parallel, Dan has also really helped me with my poor eating habits--I'm a busy executive with little time to care or prepare food that is consistently healthy--and I sure do love Chicago cuisine. But every visit Dan would casually ask me what I planned to eat for the week and then give me directives on best options, grocery store lists, crackpot recipes, how to store my food, when to prepare it, and even where I can stop on the way home to get what I need for the next day :). . Dan has been a God send and reinvigorated my belief that I can take care of my health, actually meet my fitness goals, and truly enjoy it. I've absolutely loved, enjoyed, and seen results from every single session with Dan. I can't rave enough about how great a trainer he is and his attention to every aspect of his clients fitness, and overall well-being!!
When first searching for a personal trainer, I had no idea what type of trainer I was looking for. All I knew was that I wanted someone who would help me to be a better version of myself. Andie reached out to me and gave me a very detailed email of what to expect in her training. Without even meeting her, I already felt comfortable and at ease. When beginning training with Andie, she made everything very clear about where she would like me to be by the end of our training together. She explained how my body worked, and ways to get my body to start functioning better. I have always hated going to the gym, but every day that I train with Andie, I am excited to go and feel so much more confident with myself. We have been training with Elijah - Physical Peak – for a little over a year now. My husband and I both have had great results. We love the ease and convince of having him train us in our home, without that we wouldn’t be making the life style changes we both have needed. He has helped coach us on nutrition changes also. About half way through our year we got pregnant and I have been able to continue working with him through my whole pregnancy, my doctor has said I am doing great and my health, blood test, blood pressure etc. has been right on track through my whole pregnancy. I contacted Jill about hiring an in home personal trainer for my 75 year old mother after she had achilles surgery and was done with physical therapy but still unable to function comfortably in everyday life. My mom has been training with Nicki for a few months (she told me in the beginning she was just going to do "a few sessions") and has improved wonderfully. My mother likes to say she "gave up a cruise" to train with Nicki, but she insists it is totally worth it! My mother is not an easy one to please, and was a hard sell for training in the first place. You know that feeling you get when someone looks at you and you can see them calculating in their head- what is different? Training w Chris made me different. I have pretty much always worked out, but working out with weights outside of a class environment wasn't part of my regular routine. I have worked out with trainers in the past, but after a handful of sessions would tire of their plan and go back to classes or machines. The boredom still hasn't kicked in with Chris and it has been about a year. My body is tighter, my butt is higher and I can knock someone out with one punch if they deserve it.
NATE IS GREAT!!!! I was hesitant to start up personal training again. Past experiences with other trainers left me discouraged and feeling as I wasted money and time for little results. I started working with Nate in February and I could not be more pleased with the progress we've made. I look better, feel stronger and have a much better understanding of how to correctly use my body for maximum results. Nate's training style is educational, encouraging and incredibly motivating. Dylan is committed to providing the best fitness and nutrition plan that works for your body and your needs - definitely not a "one workout plan fits all" mentality! I needed to adjust my type of workouts to hit specific fitness goals and asked Dylan for help in creating the right training plan. In every training session he provides knowledge on why certain movements active certain muscles and tips on how I can best maximize each movement. He's also knowledgable in proper nutrition based on my goals. Plus, he's super responsive whenever I have a question. In my time working with him, it seems he really cares about building great professional relationships with his clients so that they can all reach their goals.

I have worked with Steve on and off for the past 3 years. Having been a dancer my while life, I wanted to train with someone who understood the importance of core balance, along with being able to push someone to achieve their goals through a variety of different exercises you really don't see others using in the gym. He made our workouts fun, but focused and intense. I sought out a trainer because I had put on a lot of weight since I stopped dancing regularly as I did when I was in college. I ballooned up to over 170lbs and decided I wanted to take back my health, and look like I did when I was in college. I sought out and found the right trainer. Steve is exceptional at what he does, and I would highly recommend him. He kept me strict on the nutrition aspect, and always had me tell him what I was planning on eating after workouts, and what I had been eating since I last saw him. This really kept on my toes and made me accountable in what I do when I'm not training with him. After all the hard work, I lost over 30lbs and hit my weight and fitness goals!! Matt Walters is an awesome trainer, He knows what he's talking about with training each time he gives me a good workout but not where I'm hurting for the next week like some trainers have done. Joe was my personal trainer for over a year and I was very satisfied with the quality of training he provided. My program included a warm-up, progressive power-lifting, metabolic conditioning, and stretching. The exercises were fun, challenging, and at times quirky. No two workouts were ever the same. Joe adapted and modified the program around my needs instead of trying to plug me into some preset routine. I learned that a person does not have to spend two hours in the gym every day in order to see results. With Joes guidance and encouragement, I was able to accomplish things I never thought possible. Joe really listens to and cares about his clients. He demonstrates a willingness to research, explain, and physically demonstrate each technique. He is not afraid to pull in movement from many types of disciplines. This keeps the workouts fresh and interesting as well as efficient and effective. Joe emphasizes life balance (eating, sleeping, exercising, etc). He practices what he preaches. He is very knowledgeable, is willing to continue learning, and has a great personality. I've been a fitness enthusiast for many years but I have noticed a remarkable difference in my strength and stamina since I've been doing training sessions with Jason. I started off with just once a week for the first couple years and that was enough to see significant improvement. I just recently added an extra day per week and I feel even better. Jason is most certainly a fitness professional, he always has a new and thoughtful sequence of exercises for each session that even after several years are still challenging. I have some back issues and on several occasions he has taken time out to show me some great exercises and stretches to alleviate my back pain. I think Jason can as easily work with athletes as he can work with those new the gym. He is friendly and approachable and our training sessions always fly by. I highly recommend him for anyone looking to learn, change up, or challenge their fitness routine.
