Working with Dave was an amazing experience. He was timely, professional, easy to communicate with and provided us with some great drums for everything we needed. Great chemistry in the studio.
I have used Brian for lessons in using Logic Pro, and also as an on-site recording engineer. I recorded a big band style piece with Brian on very short notice, and Brian helped convert a temporary space into a great room for recording, and he was very organized and thoughtful in how he organized all of the files and work products. He is knowledgeable both musically and technically, which is a huge asset.
I am writing on behalf of my operatic comedy group Forte Chicago. White Fox Cinema recorded two of our full-length, live shows, The Sausage Show & Other Bites in May 2016 and Winter Whisper in February 2017. They were extremely easy to work with and were always prompt and courteous in their communication before and after the performances as well as in their arrival at the venues. They provided a high quality video recording that captured the wide array of spectacle and color we use in our shows as well as our operatic sounds in these small venues. We loved how they were able to capture several angles and seamlessly tie them together in an awesome video edit. I have nothing but good things to say about these guys and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a timely, professional, and high-quality product!
Mr. Todd Richards is polite and professional, at the recording studio.
I was undecided on which direction I wanted my tracks to be Mastered. He was patient enough to provide me with two choices. Also he went back into the mix and gave me an all Instrumental with background vocals so I can use it in my showcase. Great Engineer, Music Producer, Excellent in Mastering. Thumps Up. I have 4 more tracks for ya.
Absolutely the best guitar teacher I've ever taken lessons from. I wanted to learn: Beatles, Stones, Neil, Dylan, Joni, R&B, and a whole slew of songs I'd heard & loved from my teens. Fran not only knew them, he was able to teach them to a beginner. All ya gotta do is practice. He was one of the best kept secrets in L.A. I remember that not only Bob Dylan, but also Jackson Browne asked him for consultation on specific artists. Chicago is lucky to have him.
Jake studied at columbia and has an audio engineering degree. He knows his shit! Hes put together a super professional home studio, takes care of his gear (awesome gear), and handles his projects like a pro. Ive worked in a recording studio and jake runs the entire operation with the same attention to detail.
Brad Neiman was exceptional with his help and direction. He was extremely nice, courteous and professional. Definitely knows what he's doing and his experience in music production shows with the efficiency of the editing and such. The studio is brand new with top notch state of the art equipment and I was honored to be the first customer. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you want a great and affordable studio experience.
Best studio so far gotta come back ASAP
Jason was kind enough to record and mix a single for my punk rock band Played Out free of charge. He's a talented engineer who is very easy to work with and works with you to realize the sound you want.
I'm a guitar player, vocalist, and song writer for over 10 years. I've used Parka Entertainment Studios several times for a variety of musical services; audio recording of live instruments / bands / vocals, mixing, songwriting assistance and production. Parka consistently puts out professional quality sounds. Nick has a very efficient work ethic and has a good positive attitude. Parka Entertainment is a pleasure to work with and I'll be continuing to use them in the future!
Steve was very patient and intuitive during the recording process. In addition creative enough where I definitely valued his subtle input on various performances and other creative ideas when recording. Not overbearing but intuitive where he felt like a direct part of the process. On the sound engineering side, he also seemed to be very knowledgable on the technical side but able to apply it all in the practical funky sense making for a rewarding sonic experience.

Since 2005, Jay Vega has worked to make a name for himself as one of the sought-after producers in the Chicago hip-hop scene. Originally from the Lower East Side of New York, Jay Vega began his journey as a DJ in the early '90s with his brother DJ Chips (RIP). Soon after, he would take his talents beyond the tables and on to the mic. It was then that he also began to learn the ropes of production from his cousin, I-Cue. Jay Vega was a natural talent, and everyone knew it when he released his first song, "Back In The Day," produced by I-Cue. He put his life story in a song, and it proved that not only can he rap, but he was also an emotional and deep lyricist. Like many other artists, Jay Vega used music as an escape from his dangerous surroundings, as well as to keep his emotions grounded. He is so deeply connected to his music that everything he creates can change with his mood. To Jay Vega, sharing the music he creates is like giving a piece of his heart away. Having come a long way from running the streets of New York, today he sits as one of the regular producers for a roster of Chicago's finest artists, including Lungz, Astonish, The Primeridian, Rashid Hadee, Esohel, KING, GoonieJ, BdBusiness, itsQVC, Myles J, SevenSevenThree, KooLes, Jacorey, Michael lsael, Pugs Atomz, Mass, Chevy Kaang, Beatsmiths, Finch Borough$, DJ NandoMagic, Reap, and Outbreak. As part of the JVMT/GoodLife collaboration, Jay Vega works alongside the head engineer of GoodLife Studios, Chicago, Alex PapiBeatz Baez, where he handles the production. His experience and team have allowed him to take his music to a whole new level. Combining the gritty New York style with the ever-evolving Chicago music scene is one way he has and will continue to set himself apart.
