Susie communicated with us during the entire process--from the day I first contacted her about her dog training services-- so nothing came as a surprise to us. She was very clear about how to be in touch with her, what kind of information she needed from us, what services we could expect her to provide regarding our dogs' training (which includes a 48-hour follow-up), what the fees would be based on, and what kind of follow-up services she could provide. She is very professional and knowledgeable. After observing, testing, and interacting with our dogs, she instructed us on how our dogs learned and what tools and techniques would be most useful to us in training them. After a four-hour session with Susie in our home, we feel equipped to make some positive changes in our dogs' behavior. We have been practicing what we learned from her, and already see a difference in our dogs' behaviors. (And, it's only day 1.)

Carolyn is great! She understands dogs and people so well. My dog and I are working on the training tips she gave me and we're both having fun, too!

Belinda provided excellent care for our dog. Our dog, being a rescue dog, required specialized care in which she delivered; this included having patience, providing lots of attention, and staying overnight. All of which she did all eagerly. Belinda came to our house on a couple different occasions so our dog could become familiar with her. She even brought our Pebbles a new toy and treats! She maintained communication with us while we were away, providing updates and sending pictures. While it was difficult to leave our dog (specially being new to this state) I did find comfort knowing she and our house were being well cared for. Belinda is truly a sweet and caring person to owners and their pets as well as honest and responsible. We will definitely be using her services again:)! Thank you Belinda! We greatly appreciate all you have done for us!

Worthee is nothing short of amazing. Under the helm of Leah Bindig's leadership, their dog care service is courteous, responsible, amiable, and dedicated. Since I found Worthee on Thumbtack a few weeks ago, we have been more than satisfied and, in fact, quite impressed. Leah's team (we've worked with Ceri and Michelle, both of whom are great) arrive on time, communicate efficiently and readily by text and email, lavish love on our dog, and send adorable photos of their walks and overnight visits. I could not ask for better care.

Nancy and Angelica are a perfect match for our pups! My dogs are wild and Nancy has committed to keep training with them on their walks and work on basics commands. Nancy always follows up walks with fun photos and I love that part. She is extremely reliable and flexible with times and days, and I appreciate that with a busy schedule. We are sold!!! We appreciate you Nancy.

Myself and my family have had quite few dogs over the years. Almost all large protective breeds which inherently require high levels of training. Over the years we've met many trainers some were nice but underqualified and others not so nice. Leslie came from a very reputable and well established training center. Over the years (many at this point) and through several different dogs she has brought a wealth of knowledge from all aspects of canine behaviour, psychologically, and physiology. She has a very level headed and balanced approach to training that generally defaults to firm obedience and discipline but never overly corrective or through anger. She is also a great guide in picking a dog that's right for you and your particular lifestyle, which is extremly important to do first. She's a pretty straight-up, no nonsense type but is really easy to work with and the value for her services is beyond fair. She can definitely deliver any kind of assessment, training program, or dog type you may want or put you in contact with some of the best out there but you must be willing to takeover after and work the program consistently for the results to last.

Cassidy does a great job with our Goldendoodle Doug! We have her stop at least twice a week to let Doug out, take him for a walk and play with him. Cassidy has even started to teach Doug some new commands. She communicates well and lets us know when she arrives and leaves. We would recommend Cassidy to anyone that needs a dog walker, pet sitter or just someone to spend some extra time with their dog.

I am happy we found Dog Training Now. We had a private lesson with Judy and she helped us right away with Bella on the leash. We signed up for a Stay and Learn Program. I feel comfortable know Bella will be staying in a trainer's home instead of a kennel.

Stephanie’s knowledge of my dogs aggressive behavior alone was so impressive that I immediately knew she was the right trainer to handle My dogs fear and aggression issues. I’d never heard of day training and couldn’t believe that My dogs aggression could be fixed in such a short time, but her knowledge was impressive. I’m both amazed and so grateful for the work she did with my dog. The only downside was that it was a pricier than some of the other companies I talked to, but totally worth the investment in the end! I would and have recommend her to anyone looking for a trainer!! Thank you Stephanie!

I would highly recommend Julie to any of my friends (and have) that want to train their dogs. I like that she comes to your house. She was very helpful in giving me a different approach to training that is more my style of training. I have started using the techniques she has shown me in the past few days and my dog has shown improvements.

Wild Paws is a wonderful service, providing training, boarding, and daycare and Joanne (Jo) is clearly a special trainer. Jo has been our sheltie-cockapoo-pumi mix trainer for several months and the two of them hit it off from the very beginning. Indeed, I have witnessed this for every dog I have seen interact with her. The emphasis of the training program is always on the well-being of the dog: protecting the dog from running away or eating something dangerous; keeping the dog mentally stimulated, and fostering a healthy relationship between the owners and the dog, especially for families with young children. The daycare is heavily supervised and highly secured. If you are not known, you are not getting in, and you are definitely not removing a dog. However, if you are known, you are welcomed with open arms. The facility is always clean and new dogs are added carefully to the existing mix to ensure that play is always satisfying (and exhausting!) for the dogs. Pictures of the dogs are shared every day. Dietary restrictions are enforced strictly. Treats are plentiful and varied. Puppies tend to leave learning new tricks. I have also used the boarding service. Pictures of the dogs playing are also shared every day. Boarded dogs spend significant portions of the day outside of their cage, unless they are stressed. The service emphasizes the well-being and happiness of the dog as well. There is a human being with the dogs 24/7. If you have a sensitivity to smoke scent, you will want to wash your dog afterward, but this is at most a minor inconvenience. Knowing that the dogs are safe, stimulated, and learning is what matters.

After an in home session, my family chose to implement the Board and Train program. Just got our dog home this weekend and we could not be happier with the results. Easy to understand, uses treats, gave our dog repetitions, and our in home lesson involved the whole family. The place was nice and we were happy there were other puppies for her to interact with while away.

About

I would love to help assist fellow dog owners to bridge that gap between master and pack member at an affordable price. To own and care for a dog is already expensive enough, so paying for a professional trainer is often discouraging and can lead to many outcomes including negative behavior in both dog and human, neglect, abandonment, stress in both dog and human etc. My goal is to eliminate anything blocking the natural connection between you and your canine companion.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
