Thanks Farzaneh! It’s been great working with you!
My son Asher has taken guitar (acoustic & electric) and ukulele lessons from Jared for 3 years. He started lessons with no musical knowledge. Jared taught him the basics of music theory and had him playing songs he enjoyed within a month! Jared is very skilled in his own music abilities and my son especially loved when they could play together. Jared's balance of patience and the ability to push Asher to work harder and achieve more was impressive. He showed a true interest in Asher's life and music in a way that made Asher count down the days until lessons each week! We truly cannot recommend him strongly enough!Jul 20, 2019VerifiedJared Sells Music Lessons's reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? There are two options for lessons. Students can schedule a single lesson at a time, or sign up for a subscription, which provides for a discounted rate. Here are the price options: Single Lesson: 30 min. lesson: $30 45 min. lesson: $45 60 min. lesson: $60 Subscription: 4 30 min. lessons per month: $80 ($20 for each lesson) 4 45 min. lessons per month: $120 ($30 for each lesson) 4 60 min. lessons per month: $160 ($40 for each lesson) There is no registration fee. The student pays upon scheduling.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I customize the lessons to each student's goals and needs. I like to get to know a student in order to quickly discern what and how to teach. No two students will get the exact same lesson. That said, everyone will learn the fundamentals of playing (rhythm, melody, phrasing, harmony, basic theory). I pride myself on being very adaptable based on the amount and type of structure a student needs and the genre they enjoy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My music degree included courses in music theory and ear-training as well as string education methods. I toured and performed in small and large ensembles. I have played in bands, performed for other musicians albums, and led music departments at churches. I have worked with individuals and groups of various sizes with differing skill levels.
