Luis puts a lot of effort into his latin dance classes. He plans out choreo that is appropriate for each level and makes adjustments if needed. He also reaches out to make sure that everyone is getting the steps down. He integrates musicality and rhythm into even the most basic dance lessons. Usually it's about a particular melody or drum beat that allows for a certain expression of movement. It's a nice addition to the basic steps that makes your dancing a little more organic. He's also extremely detail-oriented, so he provides plenty of hints for leading and following that make it easier. Things such as hand positions, where your weight is, etc. Overall he's a class act and I would not hesitate to recommend him as an instructor.

My daughter, 12, takes voice lessons. I noticed the marked improvement after only 3 lessons; her voice really began to capture my attention for fullness, volume, and quality. I believe lessons helped her to get a solo singing part in A Christmas Carol and her voice stood out remarkably even when the other singers joined in.

I was impressed with Nan Gilbert and Dan Gorman's interest in helping us quickly prepare for our daughter's wedding on short notice. They quickly assessed our current abilities (none) and the time we had available to learn (little) to instantly arrive at a solution so we could enjoy the evening and dance a waltz with confidence. Perks: 1) They teach together to demonstrate posture, leading/following, footwork, rhythm. They step in to show you exactly how to dance and interact with your partner, so you can gain confidence and quickly progress together; 2) They were extremely accommodating and worked around our busy schedules; 3) Their rates were very reasonable with private training and two teachers.

I've been taking barre classes with Natalie for almost 2 years. She is an amazing teacher. She is so energetic and really puts a lot of care and thought into her classes. She challenges me to push myself, which is great. Natalie is hand down one of the best instructors I have ever worked with!

I believe everyone can dance. Whatever your experience or ability is, we can start where you are and work from there. There's no need to be intimidated. Allow yourself to have some fun. That's the first key to dancing well. I love seeing my students surprise themselves with how much they can actually do and how quickly they're able to improve.

I teach people how to live a happy life at 200% in the fields of acting, martial arts, yoga and ninjutsu.

I absolutely love getting the opportunity to work with kids who really want to dance. Seeing a kid with a smile on their face during lessons is always so great

I have been teaching the world to dance since 1912. We didn't invent ballroom dancing, just the best way to teach it. We teach ballroom, Latin, social, weddings, swing, tango, salsa and so much more.

Ballroom, wedding and social partner dance lessons especially for beginners. At present we do not teach Hip Hop lessons. Private rooms, no contracts or high pressure sales. Full 60 minute lessons. Group lessons available for singles or couples. Friendly practice dances. Dancing is a great way to have fun, meet new people, get some exercise and relieve stress. Those who stay with dancing for a while find that it changes their lives for the better in so many ways. I love to know I'm touching people's lives and watching how they grow through dance.

We have been in business for 18 years, teaching ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical and tumbling. We have many competition dance teams and primarily catered to children ages 3 to 18.

I am a very versatile dancer, experienced in performing at venues, from intimate restaurant settings to large theaters, from renaissance fairs to corporate parties. Add a sword or fire dance (my specialties) for an extra bit of excitement, or keep it simple and elegant. I always add a little something extra to my performances. I also offer private and group lessons and henna temporary tattoo services at my studio, Euphoria Movement Arts, or at your home, place of business or other venue. We teach hip-hop to the songs of your choice -- at a slow and good pace. We keep going over it till you get it.

How much do dance lessons cost?

Adults who want to learn to dance, whether to prepare for a wedding or to meet new people, often enjoy taking dance lessons from an experienced dance instructor. Instructors may offer classes one-on-one to individual students or couples, or to small groups. The national average cost for a dance instructor ranges from $30 to $50. Some studios offer a discounted introductory lessons or group lessons, as well as package deals that are more affordable than paying for individual lessons. Some dance instructors will travel to the student’s home, which usually costs more, while others hold small-group sessions in their studios.
