FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I like to meet great teachers, keep my skills fresh and talk to other therapists about what developments they are seeing in our profession.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most people come to see me with more than one request. They are almost always stressed out because of work or family issues, and the stress is making their neck/back/shoulders hurt. My practice is based on determining what a person needs therapeutically, and creating a bodywork session for them that includes a profound sense of relaxation. People's bodies do whatever their minds think. It's so important to see them holistically. I take my time with clients rather than being on a massage franchise schedule. Often living by the clock is a big part of stress in the first place.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice is to do your homework and talk to a few therapists before booking your appointment. The relationship you will have with your massage therapist is a wonderful one built on experience, knowledge and trust. There is a perfect therapist for everybody. It is so important that you are completely comfortable talking about what you need, and that you can totally relax with the confidence that you're in great hands.
