I love it! Heather keeps me motivated I have been going daily for quite awhile now. Usually by now I loose interest I fell Fourth of July weekend resulting in injuries which in the past would have been an excuse for me to not workout but I didn't miss a beat and Heather was very accommodating to set workout according to what I could handle Thanks for suggesting Defiant to me I plan on continuingJul 13, 2016Verified

Heather LaFond and Defiant Fitness has changed my life. Walking into a new place can be scary, but I finally found an environment I felt comfortable working out in. They offer a variety of classes and challenges throughout the year with nutrition coaching to help you reach your goals. I have lost 60 lbs since starting here last fall and I couldn't be happier! - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My pricing depends on the services required. There are set rates for 30, 45, 60 minute workout sessions. I offer a discount when several sessions are paid-in-full in advance and I also offer discounted rates when personal training/workout programs are purchased with nutrition coaching.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Prior to working with a new client, I require a consultation. During a consultation we discuss goals, exercise history, nutrition and other relevant information. The consultation helps me guide clients toward the services that would best allow them to be successful.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a B.S. in Human Biology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from UW-Green Bay. I am also an ACSM certified personal trainer and have over 10 years of experience working with all types of individuals (young, middle age, older active population) and all types of goals (weight-loss, toning, muscle gain). In addition, I am a Precision Nutrition Level 1 coach, certified Piloxing Barre, Piloxing Knockout, & Piloxing SSP instructor, SCW certified kettlebell instructor and have 5 years experience teaching & designing cardio-kickboxing programs.
