- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer free consultations at Starbucks (East Side Milwaukee only). For on-site appointments I charge $40 for the first hour and $20 per hour thereafter. I do offer flat rates for drop-offs only, these services include: Software Install and custom configuration - $20 Diagnostics -$30 Data transfer -$30 Deep Clean and Tune Up -$40 Deep Clean, Tune Up and Hardware Diagnostic -$60 Virus Removal (Includes all above services) -$80 Operating System Install w/ data backup and software install and custom config -$80 Definitions of services: -Software Install and Custom Configuration: Install or re-install software titles with or without personal configuration. Adjust windows system and/or user settings as per specific request. User account and password configuration. -Data Transfer: Date transfer or back up from one device to another. Hardware Diagnostic: Diagnose the functionality, relative speed and performance of the hard drive, RAM, video card, battery, power supply and motherboard. -Deep clean and tune up: removal of all unnecessary temporary, log and cache files in C:drive and from browsers, disk clean, defragmentation, disk check scan, windows verification scan (sfc scan), uninstall unnecessary programs, repair and rewrite registries, edit start up programs to improve efficiency, adjust personal settings if desires (I.E. power options, security levels, sound and image options, etc.), windows, java, adobe, antivirus updates, combo fix and tweak tools (well designed combination fix program designed to fix issues too tedious to find manually, which is one of my favorite programs as it has solved truly irritating problems on many occasions). -Virus Removal: Removal of all forms of malicious entities, including: host programs and toolbars, adware, spyware, rootkits, trojans, hijacks, worms, scareware and popups. Fix browsers and internet issues which are often times compromised by viruses. Diagnose and repair any system damage caused by viruses. Please note that sometimes the viruses cause so much damage such that the operating system can not be fixed and therefore requires an operating system re-install, in this event I will re-install the operating system at no additional cost. -Operating System Install: Install operating system. Download and install manufacturer drivers. Set up user account and settings. Install windows updates. Install host of useful programs, including: java, adobe flash and reader, browsers, Itunes, media player, cd/dvd burning software, etc.

Spending lofty amounts of time tinkering with stuff and realizing that I have marketable skills and the personality to boot!
