I felt comfortable with Austin as soon as I walked in the door, and that’s important when hiring a personal trainer! He’s obviously very well informed without being boastful about it - he helps you understand exercises and work out benefits in ways you’ll understand and be excited about! I’m a 31 year old woman, have had 5 back surgeries and have barely ever worked out (maybe here and there with a YouTube video) but we are both confident I can achieve my fitness goals with his guidance. His facility is perfect for anyone at any level and everyone is very friendly and down to earth. Super excited to continue my work with Austin! 💪🏽Feb 25, 2019Verified
I’m a former US Navy SEAL who was recently shot in the calf by ISIS while volunteering as a civilian in Iraq. After recovering enough to work out, I began to work with Austin 3-5 days a week. My goals were to lean up and restore my strength and cardio after not having been able to lift or run for almost two months. It’s been about 7 weeks, and I’m stronger, leaner, and faster than even when I was in the military! Thanks to Austin, my resting heart rate is even at the level of “a highly conditioned athlete.” If you’re able to do multiple sessions with him per week like I did, your results will be like nothing you’ve ever experienced. Also, due to his gym’s business model, his personal training rates are about HALF of the competition’s! Bottom Line: I can’t speak highly enough of Austin. He’s fun to work with and knows his stuff! I recommend him to all of my friends and even my own family.Oct 18, 2017

My experience with Austin thus far has been exactly the kick in the butt I need to start prioritizing my strength and overall physical health. He really is the total package from nutrition planning and supplement suggestions, to detailed expert training plans. He provides highly detailed instruction and pushes you to work your hardest without sacrificing safety and form. There’s no better investment than in your health.Aug 18, 2018Verified
Really cool dude. He knows a lot about fitness and is patient to teach you the proper techniques when working out. He will also make you feel right at home with his OWN gym. He has that southern hospitality trait. And if price of a trainer scares you? I will reassure you, he has the best prices around. If you want someone who is fun to be around, has a gym that has a family atmosphere, and is more than just a professional trainer, choose Austin. You will not be disappointed.May 17, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing is very very fair. Most corporate gyms will charge you upwards of $75-$80 dollars a session and lock you into this crazy contract. Not to mention if you end up not liking your trainer or don’t think they are doing a good job, you are usually stuck with them. I currently charge $40 a session which is very affordable. I offer discounts when amounts are paid in full in advance, as well as if you decide to train more than once per week. You also get a FREE membership to my gym which many others can’t offer you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to have a free meeting with them to discuss more in depth their goals and fitness history, as well as get to know them and find out certain things to best help them reach their goals. I then usually offer them one free session to “try before they buy” which gives them a chance to see what my gym is like as well as what training with me is like. If they want to continue , then we get them on a schedule and go from there. If they don’t choose to continue with me, I make sure to help layout a plan for them to make some progress on their own. You never leave empty handed with me and you get a lot before you need to hand over any money.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have my NASM Certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. It is one of the best training certifications you can have and consists of months of studying and learning with a test at the end needing higher than 80% to pass.
