Multi-subject tutoring

Introduction: As a secondary math textbook editor, my job is to create math textbooks that will help students succeed in school. I love learning and firmly believe that given the right tools, any student can excel at math. I was blessed with inspirational math teachers throughout my academic career, and many of the approaches I take when tutoring are a reflection of the methods that were so effective in helping me understand and really appreciate math. Every student learns differently; I believe flexibility in teaching style is essential to a successful tutor-student relationship. Math is an essential subject to master no matter what direction you intend to take in life, and I greatly enjoy making it come alive to my students. I desire to invest in other students the way I have been invested in by my teachers, and nothing is more fulfilling than seeing my students succeed.
