Introduction: Hi, my name is Art and I am the Owner and Founder of Handyman Healers. I have been doing handyman work for over 25 years. I started our company in 2015 as a handyman business with a focus on giving back to the community including St. Vincent DePaul, St. Joe's Food Pantry, Habitat for Humanity, World Vision, and other causes. I am so happy with the work that Handyman Healers did! He worked on a wide variety of projects in my house, and everything turned out better than expected! He did a remodel on my bathroom (including removing old tile, replacing tile, building a wall to close in a tub, building shelving and changing out a toilet), painted my stairwell, mudding/taping/drywall in two remodeled closets, and various other projects. He came to my house multiple times, and was able to complete any project I had in mind (and often came up with a better solution to what I originally planned). He has a wide skill set, but more importantly is a great person! I trusted him completely to be in my house while I was at work, and knew whatever I asked him to work on would be completed well! I have used various handymen over the years, but I have never been so impressed with the quality of work. He is a great person and does great work. What more could you ask for?

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is $50 an hour with some flexibility. The hourly rate can be flexed down if there are multiple projects ( beyond the first project). Also the hourly rate may be higher depending on what needs to be done.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will talk with you via phone or text to to find out what you need done. I can provide an estimate on time and costs. Then I will meet in person so I can see what is required and better understand your expectations. At that point I can provide a final cost. I would provide the final cost in writing that both of us would initial.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught handyman. I have received several awards/recognition's with Home Advisor as an "Elite Service Provider"; "Top-Rated Pro" and "Screened and Approved Pro" . I am insured through Acuity Insurance.
