FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No. Absolutely not. Every job is custom. Any company treating Installation in a cookie cutter fashion will lead to unforeseen costs. Also be aware effective September 25, 2025. We will be sending customers a small cancellation charge of $30 if they decide to book our services and then cancel us within an unreasonable window. We’ve had customers booking us through thumbtack, and then either just blowing us off and ghosting us or telling us their friend did the work after we had already had an agreed appointment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Consult on the phone and meet where possible. Discuss all options and budget. Determine the best of both worlds and schedule in a methodical sane pace. We don't like to be rushed, but alternatively don't milk projects and try to work efficiently.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There isn't a trade school for this type of work. We attend industry trade shows and obtain education this way. The best training is experience. We have installed hundreds of systems with over 30 years of technical experience.
