FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I belong to the International Association of Yoga Therapists, which provides regular articles on the newest research. I also keep my eyes open for workshops that are of interest to me and my clients.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with marathon runners, home-schoolers, people who are not comfortable in a group atmosphere, people looking for ways to manage anxiety, those with chronic pain, corporate clients looking to give their employees a way to deal with stress and people who work from home and need to fit their yoga practice into a clinical billing hour. I honestly don't think I've ever had the same situation twice.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I was working with a gentleman in a Long Term Care Center suffering from chronic pain. During our session, he had a pain flare up. After asking if he wanted me to call for a nurse, he decided to first REALLY try the visualization technique we had been working on. And it worked. When he opened his eyes, he looked mildly surprised and immensely empowered. My heart warms at the memory.
