Chef James had great communication, provided a customized menu, and worked with us to facilitate our allotted budget for our wedding reception. Unfortunately, the reception hall we booked did not allow for outside caterers. Based off of his professionalism, I would contact Chef James again for any future needs. As mentioned before, Chef James provided a custom menu with phenomenal descriptions of the food giving us a clear idea of what to anticipate.
Chef Matt took care of the our holiday party this year with a fabulous sit down dinner for 10. The food was awesome and my guests felt very special having a professional chef cooking for us. Thanks you Chef Matt.
Frankies catered for my brother's wedding and EVERYONE was extremely impressed with the food! That was the talk of the entire church and friends and family for months! The service was quick, paid attention to detail (because my family is very picky and we want things done the way we want it done VERY WELL), and Frankies did a wonderful job giving us the quality food at a very affordable price (almost 60% less that other offers). I HIGHLY recommend Frankies!

I can highly recommend David and Guy and Ono Kine Grindz for your wedding reception or any and all catering needs - big or small. David and Guy did a FANTABULOUS JOB catering our wedding. They provided not only excellent food for our guests on August 30th 2014, but they gave the gift of that Hawaiian family love to everyone. From the first meeting to go over the menu and our budget with Guy, to the day of the event -- everything went so smoothly. David and Guy were both so wonderful in how they responded to my numerous phone calls with changes to the menu, special dietary requests, modifications to the final head count and my own wedding jitters, David even made me sit down and relax and have a cup of Kona coffee with him. He reassured me that everything was going to be great and not to worry. And it was! It was! What caterer does that for a client? We served succulent Kalua Pig -- Hawaiian pulled BBQ pork, Char Siu chicken -- delectable tangy grilled boneless thighs, purple rice, kim chee, savory and lightly spiced macaroni salad, and a delicious carrot and pineapple slaw, plus a lovely vegetarian pasta salad for our vegetarian guests. They even made a lovely grilled seitan burger with mango salsa for a vegan friend. It smelled so good and tasted fabulous. Service was buffet style and yet the servers went above and beyond, clearing tables, asking people if they could bring them anything else. People are still talking about how awesome the food was, and the best thing about it is we still eat Ono Kine Grindz food and knowing we can anytime we want is such a gift! And we love stopping in to say hello to David and Guy and the rest of the team at OKG. It's so much more than just the food.
