My main goal is to keep the customer happy. If there is anything in my power that can be done to achieve that goal, then it will be done. Also, I have a great ability to read the crowd. I know how to play the right music at the right time to keep the crowd enthused. My catalog of music includes the Billboard Top 100 from 1950 up to today. I like to do blending and mixing of music (when feasible) to keep the crowd rockin! 🎤 🎉😃
My favorite part of this job is helping the people have a good time. I don't really even consider it a job, because I enjoy it so much! I love seeing people's reactions when I am able to play their requests. I like to think I just made their night that much better by playing their song.

Jared was amazing! We asked for background music for a company picnic and he was wonderful! The music was appropriate and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed it. He was punctual, very professional, worked with us on payment, and was just overall amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our event. We will definitely have him back next year! The DJ I booked 5 months ago cancelled one week before the party! I frantically searched the internet for another DJ. I came upon this website and DJ Rad was our hero! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am able to keep my fees low because I prefer to not spend my time or money on a website or alot of advertising. The only advertising I do is here on thumbtack, and through my business cards and word-of-mouth. So my savings are passed on to you- the customer!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am open to dealing with customers in which ever way is easiest for them. Some want to text, or just message through thumbtack. Some want to talk over the phone. Some want to have a meeting face to face. We all lead busy lives, so whatever works for you, works for me.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When putting together a request on thumbtack, try to be as specific as you can, so the DJ can give a quote as accurate as possible. For example, if it's a Quincenera or a bahmitzva, include this in your ad. Try to know the date, venue, and amount of hours of music needed. If two setups are needed, such as the sound system in one place for ceremony music, and then another place for dinner/reception, that information could be beneficial to know ahead of time, in order to give an accurate quote.
