Make sure they have the following: 1. Marketing and advertising experience. They need to understand how video compliments the entire marketing package. 2. Online marketing technical skills. An effective video producer can create and manipulate websites as video and websites should work together as an effective marketing package. 3. Delivery times are appropriate. A video producer who takes more than four weeks to turn around an average video is not someone you want to get involved with. Typical promotional videos are 2-3 weeks. Higher end commercials 3 - 6 weeks at most.
