- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I bill for lessons every four weeks. Standard tuition now is $50.00. That is for four 1/2 lessons once a week in my studio.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
A friend of mine opened a music store and asked me to teach. He thought I'd do a good job at it and so I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did because I really enjoy teaching people how to have fun with music.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach children and adults of all ages and musical backgrounds. I've had students as young as 5 and I teach people that are retired and are looking to expand their horizons or reconnect with the instrument they enjoyed in their younger days.
