As a licensed Wellness Inventory coach, I help you explore the interconnectedness of all dimensions of wellbeing: self-love, breathing, sensing, eating, moving, feeling, thinking, working & playing, intimacy, communication, finding meaning and transcending. Diving below the surface of advice on lifestyle behaviors, I help you get at the motivational, psychological and spiritual realm that supports the way of living you are striving for. I love helping people achieve their health and wellness goals by breaking down the complex into simpler, achievable steps towards healthier, happier living. Many people start with a sense of overwhelm, not knowing where to start. I take pride in taking a simple strategy in any dimension of wellbeing, and helping people discover the simplicity of making an action plan that brings their intentions to life Every person has a unique story, a unique expression of who they are and that makes my job as a health coach, trainer and yoga teacher fascinating every day. I am an avid learner, and though I've been steeped in the wellbeing profession for over 25 years, I am fascinated by the access to continual learning and love sharing that with others.

I participated in Colleen's 'Thrive to Health' 8-week program. This program offered a holistic approach to health incorporating the 12 dimensions of the Wellness Inventory. Colleen included yoga and breathing exercises in each class complimenting the discussions on feeling, thinking, self-responsibility, sensing, moving, etc. Although we were not able to cover all 12 dimensions in depth, the program has encouraged me to look deeper into the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of my life which have caused me some concern in recent months. I am learning to understand what I can and cannot control in my life, to change what I can (mostly in myself) and to peacefully accept what is beyond my control. I feel centered and at peace when I leave each class.

Colleen is a wonderful and inspiring yoga instructor. Her gentle approach and knowledge of the body, makes me feel both at ease and challenged in class. Workouts with Colleen leave me energized, more focused and relaxed. I love her classes as she works with you to do what YOU can do (ie, using props, showing easier or more challenging poses as needed). She is a great person and a great yoga instructor.
