We were looking for someone to install a security camera in the front of our house. Chris provided a reasonable estimate, was on time, and did a tremendous job with the installation. He looked into the feasibility of installing the camera and let us know before he started work what he planned on doing. He was sure to put care into the area where he was running wiring through and also used materials to protect the camera's components. Chris did the installation quickly but also made sure to do a high quality job and didn't cut any corners. I would HIGHLY recommend hiring him for all of your home maintenance needs and we will definitely keep him in mind for future work that we may have. Also telling all of our friends and family about him! Thanks for the great work, Chris!

    About this pro

Are you in need of a real maintenance technician who knows all the ins and outs of troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance, but also someone who can understand your company’s bottom line and the importance of multiple project streamlining and efficiency? How about the nature of curb appeal; do you want someone who just picks up the trash? Or, would your property do better with someone who can take a step back and see the fingerprints on the glass doors, or notices an air conditioning unit is making just a little bit too much noise? Is your maintenance crew psychic? Are they able to keep a mind out for future weather events, unplanned move-outs, public safety and security, missed trash pick up? Do they have a plan to deal with emergency situations, and know the appropriate people to call for parts and/or help? Do you really need someone who will take whatever workload you give them, finish it correctly, on time and on budget, and find something else to work on without having to ask you for more direction? I’ve been doing residential and commercial handyman work on and off for over thirty years. My grandfather started me out reading a 23-volume set of Time Life books called “How It Works” when I was seven years old. By the next summer, I was up on rooftops working on swamp coolers, painting the neighbor’s shed, even cleaning the orifices on our gas stove, as well as the usual weekend jobs of mowing lawns and pulling weeds for candy money. Now, I’ve acquired a lifetime of experiences on many different jobs on many different properties all across the southwest. I’ve worked with large and small properties, commercial buildings, churches, banking institutions (required security clearances), private homes, condominiums, even a 23-foot RV. I have seen a lot and have fixed a lot. So, if you need someone who can get it done the right way, contact me today - the swamp cooler won’t fix itself! -Chris I like fixing... Q & A

      • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard pricing can sometimes be difficult to calculate. A lot of things require more information about the job, or an actual inspection in person. "Fix a door" could be pulled out hinges, a loose knob, or someone drove a car through it - if it's just hinges pulled out, and I happen to be close by, I may fix that for free and give you my business card. If there's a car in your bedroom, the costs for repair will be higher. In my life, though, everything is negotiable.
      • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm CPO/Spa/EPA certified. I've been fixing things and solving maintenance problems for over 30 years.
      • How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was about seven years old, my grandfather took me up on the roof to help him work on the swamp cooler. Then he had me climb on the roof to work on our neighbors' swamp coolers on my own, with him on the ground tossing up tools and parts to me.
