My husband and two children recently did an intown move where we had to move furniture to multiple locations. The moving guys with Allied Irish Moving onsite were professional, friendly, thoughtful and very hard workers! They handled all our furniture with grace and ease, and were very nice-- easy to be around people. A special thank you to head mover, Quay who was very patient while I had to sort out a problem at our storage unit. They were so good, I even had my elderly parents hire them for their move from their home into a condo. My father is so picky-- and he was even impressed! Great price, great movers and *very* helpful phone staff-- especially Julie. We had to work out a lot of per-coordination. There is a reason that people hire local movers-- because you get a family owned business of people who care. You can't go wrong with Allied Irish Moving for your next move!

Moving from my home of 20 years and downsizing was I thought going to be such an ordeal. Alan and his team of professionals were amazing! The made the complete experience stress free, they came on time, always communicated with me, suggested things to me and worked until late into the night unpacking every box so that everything was secure and undamaged. This company deserves 10 stars and not 5 as they are amazing.

Items broken/damaged... two table legs, dog kennel damaged, two mountain bikes as well. Some items left behind in closets. I will say, "breakables" were packed well and only one item was broken, as we "unpacked" This should be "two stars" except that I have soft spot for owner, who is good guy. He assembled our pool table/ washer /dryer and did good job. Move exceeded estimate but numbers were adjusted. The broken furniture was fixed and bikes repaired. Overall his "team" let him down on this move..." Three stars" very generous considering issues/time it took to move us and problems we encountered.

We did have a problem with a mover that is no longer with the company. We did take responsibility for the damages, fixed what we could and replaced what we could not. Walter was very accommodating during the whole process.
