Observing students excel in their musical passions is what gives me the joy to teach. I enjoy working with students in various styles including jazz, pop, blues, rock and funk. I strive to engage the students needs whether it be technique, theory or just learning tunes!

I started taking lessons from Brian almost a month ago to learn how to play simple chords and read music. In that month I've only taken two lessons from him but I have learned more than I ever thought I would in just two lessons. I honestly can't name anything that could be better about Brian and his teaching method. He knows what he's doing and is very patient when teaching. He's just an all around great teacher and I would recommend him to anyone who wants to learn how to play or even to anyone who wants to shape up on their guitar playing.

Brian taught my daughter from when she was 9-11, then my stepson. He is the most patient and encouraging guide to the guitar we have had. He taught the basics, gave insight during the course of instruction, and truly motivated the kids to want to practice. I can't say anything but praise for how he engaged the student in music.

Brian is an awesome music teacher. My 15 year old daughter has improved tremendously. We have also seen Brian perform. Outstanding!!
