- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't charge any fees for my planning services and just ask that clients book through me. The quotes that I provide will be competitive and dependent on the vendors that are providing the tour, hotel, airfare, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to chat with the client to get an idea of what they are looking for and what their travel preferences are. That will help guide me as I'm putting together the travel package that works for them. After getting the details, I'll send a quote for an option or maybe two. From there, I'll work with the client to fine tune the itinerary until the client is completely satisfied.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It's really helpful to have a budget in mind. I work with many budgets from low to high and I take pride in maximizing the value for any given budget. But I need a target! It's also helpful to have general dates in mind.
